SC-Project used all the experience gained during the long term collaboration with Aprilia Racing to develop this full exhaust system with S1 muffler for the new Aprilia RS 457.
Everything has been developed to offer the best performance together with a great improvement of the agility of the Aprilia RS 457, thanks to an outstanding weight reduction of over 30% (if compared to the OEM exhaust system) and an incredible performance gain of 2.5 hp at 7200 rpm and 2.2 Nm at 7200 rpm (performance data are registered without dB-killer).
The S1 silencer shape, together with the spectacular carbon fibre end can, donates an aggressive yet elegant look to the full system and is enriched by an exclusive riveted aluminium plate with SC-Project logo.
As soon as you start the engine on your Aprilia RS 457, the conical shape will reward you with strong and deep notes, true SC-Project signature sound.
To guarantee you the best customization possible, we have equipped the muffler with a removable baffle. This solution will give you the choice between a loud (but acceptable) 104 dB at 5500 rpm with dB-killer installed and a louder sound of 112 dB at 5500 rpm without dB-killer.
The exhaust system is crafted entirely with AISI 304 Stainless Steel to ensure optimal resistance and durability. It is manufactured using state-of-the-art technologies, including handcrafted TIG welds, exactly like every SC-Project product.
Included in the precious package, you will find the ECR (Electronic Catalytic Remover). With the removal of the catalytic converter, the new RS 457 will generate a permanent error that can cause different issues while riding. This crucial device has been developed by SC-Project to correctly manage the removal of the catalytic converter. Extremely easy to install, it needs to be connected to the OBD socket and it will automatically manage the error, safely restoring the correct functionality of the on-board electronic system.
The installation is completely plug and play and it’s completely reversible.
This product does not meet European regulations for road use; ECU remapping is not required.
